Privacy policy
In short: this site sets no cookies, uses no tracking and uploads no music to our servers. The details are below.
1. Controller
Uwe Schwarz, Viktoriastraße 3, 01968 Brieske, Germany, e-mail kontakt@skyloopbeats.com.
2. Hosting and server logs
The site is delivered via Firebase Hosting (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). When you visit, technically necessary data (IP address, time, page requested, browser identifier) is processed in server logs. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (secure and stable operation). Google may process data in the USA; Google is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. We do not evaluate these logs ourselves and use no analytics tools.
3. Mastering tool
Mastering runs entirely in your browser (Web Audio API). The audio file you load is not transmitted to us or to third parties and is stored nowhere; once you close the page it is gone. Only for the optional MP3 export does the browser load an encoder library once from the content delivery network jsDelivr (Prospect One, Poland); your IP address is transmitted to jsDelivr in the process. The WAV export works without this request. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.
4. Playlist submissions
The submission form sends your details (artist name, Spotify link, preferred playlist, e-mail address, optional text) via the service Web3Forms to our e-mail address. Web3Forms does not store the content permanently. We use the details solely to listen to and answer the submission and delete the e-mail after completion, at the latest after twelve months. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (handling your request). There is no newsletter and no sharing with third parties.
5. Spotify embeds
Playlists are only loaded after you click “Show playlist” (two-click solution). Only then does your browser connect to Spotify AB (Regeringsgatan 19, 111 53 Stockholm, Sweden); Spotify may set cookies and process usage data. Legal basis: your consent given by the click, Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR. Details: Spotify privacy policy.
6. Cookies and local storage
We set no cookies and no local storage. Your browser may cache parts of the site; it controls that itself.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR), as well as the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority – for us, the State Commissioner for Data Protection of Brandenburg. Simply write to the e-mail address above.
8. Changes
This policy is updated when the site changes. Last updated: October 2026.
The German version is the legally binding one.
